Singer, actor and theatreperson MD Pallavi is all set to return to the Kannada screen with
Mansore’s 19-20-21. The actress says that while she has been active with her singing, she has never stepped back from acting either, adding that she is a creative professional and loves both singing and acting in equal measure.
"I have been continuously acting on stage without a break and even acted during the pandemic.
But it was after a while that I did a feature film. I was surprised that Mansore called. I have known him and sung for his previous film as well. He was hesitant and awkward while approaching me as it was for the role of a woman older than me. I reassured him that I was an actor and would do any role, the age of my character does not matter," she shares.
Pallavi says that she had an enlightening experience being on the set of this film. "It was after I reassured Mansore that I was ready to do any good role that he explained my character. For this film, I got to shoot in the forest for many days. It was a wonderful cast with many members hailing from the theatre fraternity. It was a very well planned and efficient production with a great team of actors. I enjoyed the experience in every way," she adds.
